Amanda L. Anderson (B.S., Human Biology, UW-Green Bay) is a Research and Development Technician at PreventionGenetics in Marshfield, WI. She has experience in genetics and molecular biology and currently develops and validates new genetic tests for inherited diseases. She would like to expand upon her current knowledge and feels that learning other facets of the industry will be vital to continued success in the field of biotechnology.

The MS in Biotechnology fits well with her goals of gaining more experience in the related areas of biotechnology. She knows that having a more holistic view of the entire process of biotechnology and its integration into healthcare will greatly help in making educated decisions about the process. She is excited to learn more about the business and law aspects of the field, as well as to continue to enhance her leadership skills, while simultaneously integrating this knowledge into her current profession.
