Claudia Nehring ( B.S. Chemical Engineering, FAAP – Brazil) was a Project manager at Gene Domus in Sao Jose do Rio Preto - Brazil. Working with in vitro fertilization in Bos Indicus cattle, this company has been one the most important veterinary companies in Brazil and Bolívia, helping Brazil reach the rank of one of the world's largest meat exporters through breeding and reducing the gap between generations.

Her goal in the M.S of Biotechnology is to develop and manage a stem cell therapy company in veterinary medicine. Companion animal industry is an important, enormous, and growing market. The UW-Madison, Master of Science in Biotechnology degree will be an important piece to help her expand this market and to improve the future of veterinary medicine. She also has a goal to work in implementation of pig farms as recipients for embryo cloning to serve the purpose of human organs donors.

She believes in the advance of the researches on this field that will revolutionize medicine and solve the transplant issue, thereby bringing life and hope to millions of patients worldwide.
