LinkedIn logo Michael Wollar

Michael Wollar (B.A., Biology and Psychology, Lake Forest College, IL) has always been fascinated with the possibilities of incorporating biotechnology into everyday life. He began his professional career as a Technologist at Baxter, where he gained experience in the development of medical technologies. From there he altered course to pursue graduate studies in biological sciences at UNL; before tacking back toward industry and landing in QA at Covance.

He seeks to continue learning about the biotech industry and wants to establish himself as a valuable contributor. His long-term goal is to leverage his propensity for strategic and risk based thinking into a role in developing and expanding biotechnology. He feels that the education provided by the M.S. in Biotechnology program will develop and expand his management skills while imparting knowledge to successfully utilize them in biotech operations.
