Ashley R. Matsick (B.S., Biomedical Engineering, UW-Madison) is a Quality Engineer at Boston Scientific Corporation, in St. Paul, MN. She provides support to manufacturing of components utilized in life-saving implantable devices, such as cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators. Her key responsibility is to ensure patient safety and compliance are at the center of all activities. She sees the M.S. in Biotechnology program as an opportunity to work with cross-functional students, learn front-to-back the process of product development, and open her mind to new ideas, technologies, and ways of thinking. Her goal is to take what she learns in the program and fuel positive change.
