Email Forwarding

The Problem:

Personal email addresses regularly change. How do we find an easy way to email each other?

The Solution:

Everyone configure their "" account to forward to whatever personal email account they prefer to use. Once everyone has done this, we will simply send messages to each other's WiscMail addresses which will be remain active and the same throughout your affiliation with the university.

How to Configure Mail Forwarding

  • Log in the Wisc Account Administration page. Use your NetID username and password.
  • Once you've logged in, Click on "Office 365", then click on "Forwarding" from the link menu (bottom link). 
  • Carefully type the email address where you want your messages to be forwarded to in the box. Be certain you type the email address correctly!
  • Click the "Save Forwarding Information" button when you are sure the e-mail address has been typed correctly. You should next see a page confirming the settings change.

Once configured, messages sent to your "" account will be automatically forwarded to whatever email address you set.
