The M.S. in Biotechnology program has over 350 alumni since its first graduates in 2004.

Alumni by Graduating Class:
The Capstone Research Project is an independent thesis project performed by students during their final semester in the program. Students are mentored by a pair of assigned faculty, one who serves as a business advisor and the other as a scientific advisor.
The final capstone thesis paper requires students to demonstrate a full and complete understanding of their work in the program by requiring them to identify a global problem and perform an integrated analysis and proposal for a comprehensive development plan to refine a technology discovery addressing the identified problem.
Students are provided a detailed outline highlighting key points of consideration for this challenging thesis and direct support is offerred by their business and scientific faculty mentors. Students produce a fifty-page paper of their research and conduct a fifteen minute presentation of their work at the conclusion of the semester.
