Ann Salm

The Class of 2009

Ann E. Salm (B.S. Biology) is a Board Certified Clinical Microbiologist with Consultants Laboratory of WI in Fond du Lac. She performs testing in various areas of microbiolgy including bacteriology, virology, mycology and parasitology. In addition to her clinical experience, Ann has been a team member and team leader for various Lean Six Sigma Quality Improvement initiatives with Agnesian Healthcare of which Consultants Laboratory is a part.

By entering the Program, Ann wants to broaden her understanding of biotechnology as it relates to her current work and how to bring it to consumers. She hopes to summon her knowledge of molecular diagnostics, her resourcefulness in quality improvement initiatives and her strong interpersonal and leadership skills to bring her to excel in this program and, ultimately, expand her potential for career advancement.
