Abdalla Ali Saad (B.S., Zoology) is a Research Specialist in the Department of Anesthesiology in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is currently conducting research on ligand-gated ion channels (GABA Receptor) and on drug screening technology. In addition to more than five years of active research experience, he facilitates smooth day-to-day operations in the lab, supervises undergraduate students and trains students and researchers in electrophysiology techniques. His long-term goal is to establish a biotechnology company, utilizing a strong skill set in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, licensing, patenting and ethics.
