This course is designed as a capstone experience in which students will integrate and apply knowledge and skills gained in M.S. in Biotechnology Program to achieve a new level of synthesis and depth of understanding about an important problem in biotechnology today. Each offering of Advanced Biotechnology focuses on three "hot topics" of global importance. This perspective is meant to broaden students' understanding of ethical issues in international biotechnology and awareness of opportunities for intellectual collaboration and entrepreneurship.

Goals of the Course
